Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Yix Labs AI receptionist platform, website, APIs, dashboards, voice agents, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Yix Labs ("Yix Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating a workspace, logging in, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your business or organization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your workspace credentials, for all activity under your workspace, and for ensuring your users comply with these Terms.

2. Workspace onboarding

Self-serve signup creates a workspace shell. Full production configuration—including telephony, voice routing, calendar integration, and go-live approval—requires completion of Yix Labs onboarding. We may place new workspaces in a pending setup state until onboarding is complete.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purposes;
  • Attempt to bypass security, access another tenant's data, or probe systems without authorization;
  • Upload malware, spam automated signups, or interfere with platform availability;
  • Misrepresent your identity, business, or authority to obtain service;
  • Use the Services in a manner that violates telemarketing, recording, privacy, or healthcare laws applicable to you.

4. Customer responsibilities

You are solely responsible for: (a) configuring accurate business information; (b) providing required call recording and privacy disclosures to your callers; (c) obtaining consents required for your use case; (d) reviewing AI-generated responses, bookings, and messages; and (e) maintaining backup procedures for critical scheduling data.

5. AI-generated outputs

The Services use artificial intelligence and automated telephony. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Yix Labs does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice. You acknowledge that human review may be necessary and that Yix Labs is not liable for decisions made solely on AI outputs.

6. Fees and trials

Fees, billing cycles, and trial terms will be presented during onboarding or in a separate order form. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Third-party services

The Services integrate with third-party providers such as telephony, speech, calendar, email, and hosting vendors. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

8. Intellectual property

Yix Labs retains all rights in the Services, software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights in your business content. You grant Yix Labs a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the Services.

9. Confidentiality and data

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You agree not to misuse confidential information obtained through the Services.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, certain data may be deleted according to our retention practices.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YIX LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YIX LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO YIX LABS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) IF NO FEES WERE PAID.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yix Labs from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your business content, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes shall be state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

15. Changes

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version and changing the version date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance at login or signup. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
